'Don't park in strangers' driveway': Entitled woman gets her car blocked by resident for 2 weeks after using his driveway without permission

Finding a parking spot can be such an excruciating and stressful experience that it can bring out the absolute worst in people. 

If you have ever tried to find street parking in Manhattan, you have probably seen the full range of human emotions in pursuit of this single goal. It's part of the reason why most people who live there don't have cars. It's just too much work. I'll never forget borrowing a family friend's car for two weeks and having to constantly move spots for street parking. Even when you find a spot, you never feel like it's fully safe and are probably thinking about the car every few minutes until it's time to move it again. In short, I would not recommend it.

  • This resident saw that an entitled woman, who turned out to be visiting family for several weeks and was using a rental car, had parked directly in his driveway despite having no permission to do so. When he parked his own car, he decided to give her a little taste of his own medicine and block her in… but not just for a few hours. He ended up blocking her in for several weeks.
